Call for Designers: New Windows on Willesden Green

The Architecture Foundation together with its partners is calling for emerging designers, architects and other creative individuals to carry out shop front improvements for local clients in the Willesden area. Successful design professionals will be paired with existing businesses along Willesden Green High Road working with them to create innovative shop front displays and legacy improvements that will be completed by December 2011.

We have a basement gallery in Highgate, N6, available to hire from 30th August. Its approximately 390 sq ft and is self contained in the lower level of Artway Emporium (www.artwayemporium.co.uk) which is an antiques and curiosity, haberdashery and art materials shop.

Rehearsal studio for musicians

The long struggle to attain a space to set up a rehearsal studio continues and progress has been made but we're not there yet.

 

The story so far is that, after finally persuading the directors of Meanwhile Space that we are serious, they say we needed to find a jazz-related charity prepared to sign the lease on any premises that we rent. Temporary Animation Expression of Interest Form for Willesden Green Library

Empty Shop Tour

About the Empty Shop Tour



Meanwhile Project has funded key organisations to tour as a Iive project, spending a week working with local artists and the community to create a one-day local history exhibition, finding stories in the places we visit.
