Use of empty churches? Any examples? Also listed building meanwhile use

Hello!



One of the issues I keep coming across in built heritage is the increasing disuse of Church buildings, often with declining congregations and with village and town halls being used for community spaces, they are often listed and important to communities but fall into lack of use. Those that are still active as places of worship still lie empty for most of the week. I wanted to know if anyone has found any meanwhile uses for buildings such as this?

'Meanwhile' License?

Hi All,

Loads of retailers say they have superior landlords who they have to get permission from to let us have a Lease, but that we can have a License no problem. I’m sure this is something you have already looked at, but it would be hugely helpful to have a 'Meanwhile' License. What do you advise?
