Initially funded for 6 months the NOISELAB is now due to close towards the end of May 2010. We’ve got the lease until November 2010 and we want it to remain open full time until we have to say good–bye properly.

Yippee Meanwhile Space have it's very own space!
Eddie, Emily and I are based at 251 Hoxton Street in London for a minimum of six weeks to host a living, breathing example of Meanwhile. Having exchanged a Meanwhile Lease for keys last Thursday we are now up and running and even looking forward to getting our very own sign.
We are very open to people wanting to use the space while we are here and want to get activity happening as soon as possible that benefits the community.…

Well, what a day - full-on volunteer clean-up at the House of Hastings. It makes me very proud and feels like we're really getting somewhere. House of Hastings was the original shop that spurred me to think that 'meanwhile use' was a good idea - that we needed to do something to sort out shops that were in private ownership but had little or no prospect of a commercial let.
