There are lots of very interesting posts here but I don't see much from Scotland.

In spring 2009 Banff and Macduff Community Trust (BMCT) instigated a participatory photographic survey of what was most liked and disliked about the Towns. 64% of the photos returned showed that, by far, the most prevalent dislike was run-down boarded up properties and unsightly public places. CLG empty shop revival fund

CLG funding is going to 57 local authorities around the country. See http://www.communities.gov.uk/news/corporate/1311364. I'd love to see them all join the Meanwhile Ning. I know that council officers sometimes have difficulty accessing network sites which is ridiculous when everyone accepts we live in a knowledge economy.

We've been asked for an average cost of a meanwhile project... (piece of string anyone?!)
