Summer is the season for empty shops

Maybe it's because the news is slow or maybe it's because the amount of projects in empty shops is rocketing. There is so much in the news at the moment celebrating the impact of temporary uses for empty retail space all over the UK.

The day will have workshops for young women in Hackney to learn more about accessing skills and employment advise. Initially funded for 6 months the NOISELAB is now due to close towards the end of May 2010. We’ve got the lease until November 2010 and we want it to

Meanwhile Project reopens the House of Hastings to community and art projects



Meanwhile space reopens the House of Hastings, Queens Road, to local people with big ideas. The project is being funded as part of a national campaign to reopen closed

spaces to the local people. The House of Hastings, which has remained empty

since local business Thorcraft left the site 3 years ago, has long had a
