From the start we had alot of clearing up and painting to get the shops looking spick and span, we all did as much as we could and fianally it was time to fling open the doors to the public. Saturday 2nd October was Magic, an amazing amount of people came throught the doors, all loving the transformation and colour, and activity we had bought to the area, supportive of this project and actually making a point of telling us to stay for a long time!! "This is what Hightown needs!" one lady told me. There were lots of comments on all the wonderful Artwork and some was sold on the day. We have had The Luton Borough council in to take a good look and I think they were quite impressed, So a big Thank you to all who have put so much time and effort in getting this very worthwhile project off the ground, also good luck for the future.
