Welcome to the forum for St Anne's in Lewes.
So far the site is under community consultation to find an interim use. On Saturday 13th August, the site had an Open Day.
If you are not too sure where the St Anne's site is have a look at a map here. The entrance is off Rotten Row.
About St Anne's
St Annes is an old school on the outskirts of Lewes, East Sussex, which closed in 2005. Although there are questions over the condition of the buildings the site has expansive grounds including protected trees and playing fields.
Sat on the edge of the National Park and well connected to the town centre it is a well loved area by the local community.
St Anne’s is owned by the County Council who have entered into consultation with the community on interim uses for the site. Ideas are being collated and Meanwhile Space hopes to facilitate the coordination of new uses for a minimum of 3 years..
Please log your interest on news of the site here, discuss your ideas and concerns.
If you would like to talk to Meanwhile Space CIC about anything to do with the St Annes project please contact Jessica by email, email@example.com.
To see images of the site please visit The St Annes album.
To read more about the public consultation process and how you can contribute ideas for moving forward please visit the East Sussex County Council website.
PLEASE NOTE: The next public meeting dates are a process meeting on Wednesday 27th July and an open day on site on Saturday 13th July. You can download a copy on the letter from Sean Nolan, Director of Corporate Resources here. You can download a poster advertising both the meetings here.
