In the summer of 2011 Meanwhile Space CIC were based at a shop on Exmouth Market. The shop was owned by Workspace Group and they were interested in finding a meanwhile use for the space. The shop, which had been empty for two years, had an amazing programme of activity including exhibitions, carpenters, think tanks, vintage fashion, a history shop, cakes and a charm school.

The space has now been taken on by a full time tenant and Meanwhile Space have moved on their new project.

Comment by Jessica Courtney Bennett on May 19, 2011 at 6:07pm: Hi Esther, most of the catering bits have gone to great metal scrap yard in the sky but there are things we can't move like the big counter. This makes for having to think creatively about the space. If you are free on Tuesday 24th please do pop in to the launch.
