Hi All,

I have just joined as a member to the site, and already have founds loads of useful information. I am in the beginnings of drawing up a proposal to use one of the empty spaces on the high streets of Belfast as a temp. art gallery. However the thought of approaching big commercial property owners and estate agents is very daunting...I just hope they will take my proposal seriously...

I have seen the Empty Shops Workbook mentioned in earlier discussions and was wondering if it has been completed?/ is available? Or even if it hasn't yet been completed is there any way to view the draft version??

Any help on this would greatly appreciated.

Hi Gemma, it is completed, just going through the appropriate last minute editorial checks. I'll post it up here in next few days.
Myself and Emily are in Northern Ireland on 16 Nov, perhaps we could catch up towards the back end of the day?

Hi Eddie,

Thanks, I got a look at the draft version- really helpful! And yes, I'd definitely like to meet up with you and Emily on the 16th. Please get in touch near the time and we can make arrangements. Is it a 'Meanwhile Space' related project you're visiting for?

Any further news on this? I am working on this at my local authority, putting together some guidance for our residents and it would be great to include this.

Any info you have would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, the draft workbook has been talked about for a while - any news on the final version, or can I get a look at the draft please?
