Event Description
The haircut before the party is a collective of artists interested in the publics’ response to the recent government public spending cuts. Through the process of cutting peoples hair the artists will spend time talking to people about their political positions and their responses to these cuts. They will use these responses to map new political and social networks of friendship and form the basis and thinking and action that will develop new progressive social change.
This piece is a development for an ongoing work that the group will be showcasing at the Two Degrees festival in June.
