Located in the recently refurbished Shoreditch Underground Station, fast & dirty brings ten Canadian artists to London with the theme of transience in mind. 

In Fleeting Glance: a fast & dirty project, artists Chun Hua Catherine Dong, Luba Diduch, Jennifer Rae Forsyth, Kristen Hutchinson, Leslie Kennah, Clara Kusumoto, Garland Lam, Sara McKarney, Jenna Swift, and Claire Uhlick have created artworks that explore temporality, portability, duration, and ephemerality. 

All of the artworks for Fleeting Glance will be transported to London in two suitcases from Edmonton, Alberta. During the exhibition, the suitcases used for shipping the work will be placed in the centre of the gallery space with luggage tags that reference the title of the exhibition. In accordance with checked baggage regulations, each artwork will be packed to ship no larger than 10 x 14 x 4 inches and will weigh no more than 8 to 10 pounds.

The title of the exhibition refers not only to the short duration of the exhibition but also to the fact that the viewer will get to experience only a limited view of each artist. Artist statements and contact information will be provided to enable viewers to move beyond these fleeting glances if they so desire.
