Walk 1: Urban Signage & Placards in Exmouth Market
Urban Signage & Placards is a walking workshop about the character of a historic mixed use street in London. We will look at different shopfronts and their signage and compose some artistic photographs. We will start with al fresco workshops on how to use your camera with lenses and think about light and how to get the best exposure. We will look at photography at different scales, and learn some tips and tricks of urban photography.
DATES: 4th 5th 8th 9th August 2011 - 2.5 hr sessions. Start Time: 11am
Walk 2: Buildings Photography: A photographic study of the Church of Our Most Holy Redeemer
The Church has kindly offered the History Shop the opportunity of going inside this wonderful building. So, we will start with some exterior work and will try and catch the time of day when the sun is on the main façade. After taking photographs of long and close views we will go inside for a low level light photography session. We will look at low level light camera use and long exposures.
DATES: 4th 5th 8th 9th August 2011 - 2.5 hr sessions. Start Time 3.00pm
