Event Description

Make-Do is a collective that activates spaces, people and communities in order to stimulate change. We do this by creating temporary platforms for community projects. Our first project will be at 52 Phoenix Road in Somers Town, Camden and will take place for a couple of months at the end of the year.

This space is open to anyone to try out an idea they have for an event, an exhibition, a workshop or any kind of social project. All we ask is that in exchange for using the space you provide some support for other projects happening within the space too.

The shop is a short walk from Kings Cross Station and is in the heart of Somers Town.

We are a blog and online Vintage brand that are looking for an empty space in London. Emete Yarici founded Make Lemonade in 2007 and has since gained a daily readership of 800+ and is now a part of the Glam Media Publisher Network. With a London focus the blog embodies fashion and aim to promote up-and-coming artists from several creative disciplines, events and happenings. In the last year Make Lemonade has expanded and has created Make Lemonade Vintage as a brand extension. Sourcing handpicked unique pieces from around London, the boutique style e-store, has seasonal collections that have attracted a customer base from all around the globe. The main customers are in the UK, Australia and USA. Make Lemonade Vintage is set to launch onto Asos Marketplace in the first week of December and to celebrate our success we are therefore currently looking to introduce a pop-up shop in London to take the brand even further and bring the virtual world of Make Lemonade to life and will function as an inspiring hub as well as being an engaging retail space. Over the years, Make Lemonade has collaborated with many creatives from several disciplines, these will exhibit and sell their work in the shop. We will retail parts of the Make Lemonade Vintage collection to show what's on offer from our Asos collection. In addition we will have themed workshops, music nights and film screenings. There will be stylist sessions available as well as style nights with guests stylists.
