Since last posting, the shop in Bridge Street has been a hive of activity.  Long days preparing, painting and cleaning has resulted in a crisp, clean space ready for the first exhibition. We commissioned a brilliant sign for outside the shop to let everyone know where we were. Jane O’Connor has done us proud with her brilliant rendition of our logo. It arrived, still slightly tacky, the day before the Hereford College of Arts group, in partnership with the Red Cross were due to arrive with work completed by foundation students and school children: their response to conflict in the world.
Whilst work was going on outside to get the new sign up, the students descended with their work and suddenly the space didn’t feel like our own…but this is exactly what we wanted for it and it seems we have hit the road at a sprint……as their exhibition opened today.
